2011 IDP Stockwatch: Week 15
Hello and welcome to this season-long series for IDPGuru.com. In this article, I will discuss a few players whose fantasy value has either gone up or down depending on their performance, role changes, injury concerns, etc. from the previous week. I will try to get this article out every Tuesday for your reading pleasure.
FS – Malcolm Jenkins – (NO) – Jenkins had 10 tackles last week and 33 in his last 4 games. He has played well for the Saints and has been consistent for fantasy teams.
LDE – Jason Babin – (PHI) – Babin has been a stud the last 2 weeks with 5 sacks. He has played like the Eagles thought he would when they signed him this off-season. He would be a great keeper for next year if you have him or can get him.
MLB – Paul Posluszny – (JAC) – Poz has regained his form again with 30 tackles in his last 4 games. He has been up and down all season and hopefully will finish strong.
MLB – Jonathan Vilma – (NO) – Vilma has slowed down in his last four games played. He has 18 tackles in that span. He has been injured which may be part of his problem but 1 tackle last week is not a good sign.
LCB – Sean Smith – (MIA) – Smith has 51 tackles in 13 games this season but only 11 tackles in his last four games. He may be slowing down after a long season.
LOLB – Brooks Reed – (HOU) – Reed hasn’t had a sack in 2 games and doesn’t get enough tackles to use in balanced or tackle heavy leagues.
SS – Jim Leonhard – (NYJ) – Leonhard has been put on IR with a torn patellar tendon. He wasn’t a huge fantasy player but a solid IDP for the Jets.
